A Peking-Styled Restaurant with a long history in Hong Kong. Popular items at this reasonably priced restaurant include Peking Duck, Smoked Tea Duck, and noodles. Braised eel with Chinese leeks and deep-fried spinach topped with candied walnuts are good too. If you want Beggar's Chicken, be sure to order it a day in advance. The restaurant door is hard to find-so make sure to look out for the neon sign. Claiming to serve the "best Peking food in HK" there have been some reports that the quality of food is diminishing, but definetly still worth a try.

I have eaten at the Spring Deer a number of times but not for a few years now as my drinking area has moved away from TST.
They are known for their Peking Duck and certainly whenever we ate there we enjoyed it. Service was courteous and similar to "The American" another Pekingnese restaurant on Lockhart Road, Wanchai.
In recent years I have taken a liking to "Fong Sin" (don't know the name in English) in Telford Gardens Phase 2 on the top floor.
