A trendy Indian restaurant in Hong Kong, which steers away from the regular "heavy / spiced curries" that are the mainstay of Indian restaurant food, outside of India. Veda favors a healthier, lighter, "nouveau" approach to Indian food. Specialties include: quail samosa, prawn veppudu, lamb biryani, tandoori Tasmanian salmon, venison chops, Opening hours Lunch: 12nn-3pm Dinner: 7pm-12am

Veda, my favorite restaurant in Hong Kong

After living in HK for ten years, Veda is my favorite restaurant here. And, I am a Chinese food aficionado. The thought, skill and excellent ingredients are not to be beat. We always wonder what this restaurant is doing here and not in New York. I am getting hungry just writing this. Five stars. Their lunch buffet is great, but dinner is the greatest.
