DirectoryTop Deck at the Jumboby PhilE, March 1, 2006
Maybe it was just the night we went - a cold and wet one in February - but the experience didn't make us want to go back.
We were seated outside, protected from the rain by big plastic sheets, but not the nicest setting - and not indoors where we asked for when booking several days before.
The menu came as a bit of a disappointment too. Having been to another Cafe Deco group restaurants(the one at the Peak) I expected more choice of asian dishes, but the menu was mostly geared to grilled seafood, steaks, burgers, with a few curries for some measure.
The food itself and the service was fine, but nothing to make us want to rush back. The wine list had a good selection in terms of type and price and it's a nice location to try if you're new to Hong Kong or have visitors.
Probably better on a warmer day, or at lunchtime (others have said the weekend brunches and buffets are very good).
