Cantab Education is a British owned, run and styled Tutorial business based in Kowloon and on Hong Kong Island. Since opening in 2005, we have grown each year and currently have a 4,500 feet office (5 very big classrooms) on HK side and deal with some of Hong Kong's most well known community service providers and kindergartens on Hong Kong Island. Cantab offer a 5 day week, above market salary rates, relaxed European style working environments and encourage staff feedback and input on how our company can advance further in the future. Cantab will actively expand in a number of directions in the next year and is looking to take on staff willing to look forward with us.
The Applicant
It is essential that all applicants are 100% mother tongue native English speakers, listeners and writers. Any applications indicating that the appplicant is anything other than fluent will not be considered unfortunately.
Applicants will certainly be bright, bubbly and lively as Cantab's classes are always upbeat and active. A history of strong relationships and bonds with students and the ability to actively seek out parents and guardians for feedback would be a given.
Experience with and a liking for kindergarten classes would be advantageous as although we deal with students across a wide range of ages, kinder does play an important role in our weekly class list.
All materials are provided as Cantab designs, writes and creates everything it uses but applicants who would actively like to play a part in the development of our programs would be welcomed.
Any applicants who have a higher IT knowledge than most of us here in the office would be welcomed with open arms! Web design, flash, graphics experience would certainly make you popular here.
Applicants who have local, permanent or dependant visa status will receive first offers for interviews. Should these applications not prove to be unable to fill our vacancies we would then offer interviews to applicants who may require sponsorship.
No applications will be accepted from those unable to attend interviews in Hong Kong. We are very sorry but unless we can see how you perform in a classroom, we are unable to consider you at this time.
