Hi Guys !!!

my PC has been Infected bu Spyware and ADware ... my browser opens only some home page which is selling some spyware programmes ... i ahve tried using the softwares availafree online .. but was not able to solve tthe problem .... just am confused and scared about the safety of my computer !!! plz help if any one jnows about any trust worthy softwares that could dis infect .. my comp !!!

try to install a different browser (ie, firefox, opera) and use that browser to directly access antivirus/spyware sites, like www.download.com

I have recently started using Avast! and Edo for the antivirus/antispyware combo, and it seems to be working well, and both programs are free of charge. Has anyone else used Avast and Edo, and what do you think of these programs?

I was using Norton, but it slowed down my system so I decided to uninstall it and no renew my subscription. Hopefully I didnt make a mistake....
