Hi! This is my first post. I am being offered a job in the New Territories, but I need more information from seasoned folks like you before I can accept it.

I have 2 girls, 7 & 5, of which the younger one has a mild case of Down Syndrome. Does anyone know which international school accepts children with such a condition?

Your best bet is to ask them direct and get sort of written confirmation either way as opposed to obtaining the information secondhand and which may or may not be correct.

I'll attempt to get an answer from a friend who has a young daughter around the same age, in NT. I suspect his kid is at a local or special needs school.

Thanks for the quick replies. Having a child w/ special needs here in Japan is challenging enough, but moving out to HK seems to be quite an adventure for me & my wife. I'm shooting in the dark, since the last timie I visited HK must have been 10 yrs or so ago.

Schools are our primary consideration, since that's the main reason why I'm slaving it out here. Your forum has been very informative and I like the community here. So any suggestion is very welcome.
