Where to live with 2 dogs

Hi all,

I am in the process of selecting a place for my wife, new baby (arrives in october) and 2 dogs to live in HK. The dogs are outside dogs so we will need a garden or court yard. I will be working in Wan Chai and am ok to travel upto an hr max. Our budget is upto 40k HKD at a maximum. Thanks!

You could commute from Sai Kung or Clearwater Bay Road in an hour. There you rent a town house or a flat within one with impunity from busy body management associations with respect to owning a dog.

Good info, do you have any real estate agents that maybe able to show us around some rentals? Also my wife is pregnant and due in october, should this fact impact our targeted living area?

Head on down to Ap Lei Chau. Lots of space down there, and you're still on HK island.

Expatriate has pissed of a few people
Please, not in Sai Kung. Unless you agree that your dogs will eat all the other dogs around here. It's very noisy already.

try discovery bay...with your budget it, you'll get a larger flat with a garden.

you will have a comfortable commute to central by ferry (25 minutes) and then either bus or mtr or taxi to wanchai...

we have both dogs and small child and would not want to live anywhere else... Db has everything that you need and it is soooo oeasy to get together for playdates etc for the children.(it also has a notoriously anal management company)
