I lost the temporary HKID card, which I'm supposed to present in order to get my real plastic card.

Anyone knows if I can get it anyway by bringing my passport or other stuff?

I guess you should first go to a police station to declare the loss and get a lost property report, if you have a copy it's even better.
Contact the immigration directly about it

Don't worry too much about the paper id card loss. Just go to immigration and tell them you lost it, when you need to collect the new one.
