Hi Alice123

I checked out the website and it really does look like the Horizon Suite Hotel would be perfect. I just wanted to ask them a couple of questions and thought it would be easier to do it via email - I don't suppose you know of an email address for them?

Thanks
Spanner

Checking this out for relatives. It does sound awesome.

Does anyone who has lived there have realistic estimates for how long journeys via public transport (MTR, KCR etc) would take to Central? The website's 30 mins to central sounds unrealistically short journey time. To North Point?

If we splurged on a taxi how much would it cost to central, and how long would it take?

Also, do they do room service meals delivery? (I checked the website and it wasn't obvious).

We have an 80 year old and a 5 month old to plan for!

30 mins from there is unrealistic. At least 5/10 minute walk to Ma On Shan station, probably about 15 minutes to Tai Wai KCR from there and then about 30 mins to Central changing at Kowloon Tong for MTR (Kwun Tong line towards Yau Ma Tei) and changing again at Mongkok for Central train (Tsuen Wan Line). So give it about an hour and you'd be fine.

Thanks, that's very helpful. They'll never manage that with the old lady and the baby. Sad, given how lovely the place is.

Hi Alice

Yes I did manage to find the email address but thanks for checking. They told me that it would be HK $16k per month which is just outside our budget but we are going to keep it in mind and take a look when we get to HK. It seems that the Horizon Suite Hotel is the only place near Sai Kung that has serviced apartments - so if we want to leave there then we probably don't have too much choice.

I think we'll probably just try and book somewhere for two weeks initially when we arrive and then take a look at what is about.

Thanks for all your help.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Altaf

Thanks for your message. I am certainly interested in Hanley Villas - could you tell me a little more about them or send me through a link to some pictures.

Do you know roughly how and how long it would take to get from Hanley Villas to HKUST in Clear Water Bay?

Thanks
Anna
