| Could anybody refer me to a predominantly English-speaking Hiking/Outdoor organization? Have joined our company-sponsored weekly hiking event and I am the only non-local in the group. Have not learned any Cantonese words (let alone be conversant) beyond "ng goi" and "jo san" and the 4+ hour trek is quite boring. Don't wanna force them to speak or translate to me every conversation though. |

| Drop Martin Williams a line on http://www.drmartinwilliams.com He writes about hiking (has a book published for Hong Kong hikes) and organises hikes. He should be on the forums in a week or two to manage our 'Activities' forum. (Unfortunately this means I'll have no excuses left...) |
