Hi mungkey,
wat do u mean by art/design? if you could be a little more specific.. also my experience with the design jobs here is that if u dont know the local language, i.e. either canto or mandarin, then its really difficult to get a job..

I am aiming the Visual Merchandiser position. I know Mandarin, I know a little bit of Canton, will pick it up very quick if I interact more. What kind of Art are you doing?

hey,
i m into fashion design.. although have been doing garment designs since last 5 years, i prefer to work more on fashion graphic design, presentation & packaging design, and also as a hobby i enjoy poster design..
well as u said u know mandarin, and am sure u can pick up canto.. so it shouldnt be a problem.. and as for visual merchandisers, i ve seen quite a few ads on jobsdb.com and also in scmp. did u try them. also saw some ads in hk magazine classifieds section.
