Kowloon to Shenzhen airport

HI!

If I am staying in Kowloon - Nathan St, Miramar Mansions how do I catch that ferry to Shenzhen airport?

Would it be better to go over the night before?

Then how do I get cheap but safe hotel and then out to the airport the following morning?
