Just went and did a quickie reccy... I couldnt find a bar on Cadagon Street (there was an interesting looking Japanese Restaurant though that was called okisuma or somin') but I did find Q Place on Forbes street - is this a restaurant or a bar? Happy Hour 9-3am ($38a beer - still aint great but beggars can't be choosers). That should keep me busy until Arsenal kick off...

Hello! I live in Manhattan Heights and would love to meet the neighbours. I was just talking with my other half yesterday about the lack of bars in KT - with two expat friendly buildings now perhaps it's time! Or maybe Epoch should open up another cafe here.... ok, I'm dreaming now :-). I love the quieter vibe of K Town, but one or two little expat-style venues would be handy for lazy Saturdays.

Yo Shri! KIA! There is no section for Kennedy Town in the Bars and Restaurants part of 'Resources'. Have now done quick appraisal but where do we place review?

If you head out of Manhattan Heights to the right, toward the fire station, you can then turn on Smithfield Road (like you are heading toward McDonalds) but on the other side of the street from McDonalds. You'll eventually get to the Park and Shop and go around to what I think is called Forbes Street. Just around the corner there is a place that shows English Soccer matches and looks like a bar, but I was only in there for a few moments. The hotpot place next to the tram and Hong Kong Jockey Club site is also a nice hangout, if you have a group of folks together.
