Call PCCW - order the phone, broadband and NOW TV all together. Assuming there is wiring to your apartment you should get most of it up before the weekend if you call today. Call their sales hotline on 2888 0008

I had icable and pccw (via an open wireless port in my neighbors place). PCCW consistently was better than icable in downloading stuff and what not. Icable customer support was a bit difficult at times, not sure about PCCW.

Though icable had the EPL soccer channel which was nice.

I did do some head-to-head tests (with a friend who was i-cable) using a website to measure speed (http://www.numion.com), and while the average speed was about the same, and the i-cable was at times faster, the pccw was way way more consistent. Sometimes the i-cable wouldn't finish loading up the page at all.

Smile Internet with Now Broadband

Now Broadband would be the company I suggest for an Internet Connection. The connection is stable (esp. compared to Hutchison) and they tend to give you a Sony product upon joining them and signing a contract. I am currently using it and it gives you free Broadband TV. You can add $$ to view other paid channels, and the best thing is, you only pay for the channels you want to watch, unlike some companies that force you to have fixed packages. They hook you up within days.

PCCW is also great with the phone service. (they're part of the same company)
