| Networking easier said than done. Exploit every opportunity you have to let people know what you are doing here and how they can help with direction, advice and contacts. That includes your friends, the various chambers of commerce, industry bodies, the meets on here etc.
If your banking background is in the product side then it looks like your best option would be within a sales/marketing group of an IB, fund manager, private banking group. But I take it your shift to marketing is because you want to get away from the banking world? Then really it's about identifying which industry appeals to you and chasing the firms within that. |
