Can anyone recommend a free program for sending good video emails?

Have you considered email or using an IRC client like MSN Messenger to send your video files?

just not to confuse anyone, MSN is not an IRC client it's an IM client (Instant Messaging - just like yahoo messenger, aol messenger, icq and the like).
An example of an IRC client is mIRC or PIRCH where you have to connect to any server and join specific chat rooms. MSN and other IM's need not connect to a chatroom, but it is possible but not required.
