| Salary index and living Standard in Shanghai Greetings, Anyone has information on Engineering Salary index for Expat in Shanghai ? And how's Shanghai's living standard compare to Hong Kong and New York ? Thx  |

| Since I didn't know the salary index of your industry, can't help. However, for the living standard there, sure it's much cheaper than in HK & NY. The food, clothes, transportation etc are cheaper than HK for sure. The rental will depend on which area you prefer to live in SH. You can find a 2-bedrooms, full furniture, nice apartment for approx. US600-800 per month. |
