Hello to everyone here!
I'm portuguese and have a girlfriend here in Hk,we are thinking in a way for me to come to Hk to be near of her, so we are currently looking for some types of jobs i can get while i'm here. I have a major in sports sciences but don't have any working visa nor any kind of sponsorship, so i know it's going to be difficult not to mention impossible to find a job under these conditions.Most of jobs geared towards foreigners are related to teaching languages, so i was thinking in taking a TEFL or a CELTA teaching certificate to teach English, but i'm concerned that not being a native english-speaker might turn out to be a problem in finding jobs, I do have almost near-native fluency and have absolutely no non-native english accent, will my chances in finding a position as an english teacher in tutoring centres difficult for that??? And what course is it better TEFL or CELTA ????
