Does anyone take Pilates classes, especially using the reformer machine? I am interested in taking classes, and wondering how much small group and individual classes would cost.

Most importantly, which are the best pilates studios in HK in terms of instructors, equipment, etc.?

I know California Fitness (of which I'm a member) has reformer machines in their Whampoa (Tsim Sha Tsui) branch. For you to avail of it, you have to become a member of CF, plus pay extra fees everytime you use the machines. There are several mandatory group classes which you have to attend, for about HK$1000, I think. After that, you can have individual lessons, for HK$600/session.

Won't mat classes be enough, though? And would you know which centers offer regular Pilates mat sessions? I am not satisfied with the mat lessons conducted in CF, plus they keep changing the schedules every week.

Would love to find a good pilates mat class as well - would prefer not to join a gym, since I would only partake of the classes, not any other areas of the gym.

yea yea ,,,Do Pilates ? better studio and trainner nornally in Central studio. as like IsoFit ...there not much people and confortable place ...no need be a member too ...is not bad .i still play the class and one by one there ,,,it reli work for my body shape .KEEKkee

I am looking for Pilates on Kowloon side preferably on southern Kowloon pennisula and conducted in English.

Can anyone make some recommendations. I would like to attend two to three evenings a week about 18:00.
