i'd forget yokohama actually since there's nothing of real interest there - shops and a ferris wheel. it's famous for the colonial stuff, but it's not really worth the day.

Night out recommendations, Go to Roppongi, there are a few bars that have happy hour like PROPAGANDA, 911 but most bars dont get busy until 10 pm

We are planning to go to Yakahama (not Yokohama). I found it on this webiste http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5900.html - looks worth a visit - a traditional village.

Anyone been there? Also thinking about Nagoya - anyone been there?

Roppongi is such a ghetto though, with all the nigerian mafia trying to get you into their bars. Most places in roppongi are just seedy meatmarkets, but the people speak english in most places so it's the easy option for a westerner
