Red face Living Expenses

Hi people,

I'm moving to HK in Aug. I have a couple questions on living expenses. How much would you normally buy for the services listed below?

1) mobile phone bills (local calls only)
2) landline (local calls only)
3) broadband service
4) cable TV
5) power bill (living alone in a 2 bedder)
6) any other bills that i should look for?

Thanks!

1) Depends on the plan, mine is $80 for 1000 minutes + $12 for Tunnel Charges. I am using 3.
2) I think that is around $100-110 ( someone please correct me there if I am wrong)
3) Hutchison is $160 per month, but you can find cheaper one too.
4) Again, depends on the channels you subscribe to.
5) Around $200-300.
6) Gas Bill ( once every two months), Water Bill ( once every 4 months or something).

Not sure where u come from, most countries like Europe callers pay for phone calls. be aware in HK you pay for both on incoming calls and outgoing calls.

you only pay for a fixed price for landline = free for local calls within HK.
-- I can't advise on prices sorry
