Hi All,
Does anybody know what's the going salary for an architecture graduate with three to four years of experience? I've worked a year in HK after working in New York. I'm in need for another job now and would like to stay in HK very much. I went to one interview and the best they could offer was between 15K-18K, which seem low to me. Can anybody help?

sorry man, I have a taiwan friend who uses to have the same education and work experience as you.

she was working in China between 95-97
that time, China did not have much level of engineering to do all the construction work, she was getting salary of HK$50000 per month to do a project in Shanghai (and the building is developed by a HK stock market listed corporation, so this is not small thing)

in year 2000, she was actually thinking about moving to Shanghai instead
(she is a USA resident) because there were so many constructiion projects going on in China...(even today, Chiina is probably the country with the most construction project)

she went back to Shanghai and Beijing for job interview...
(also to visit her ex-employer for opportunities)

the salary was crashed to HK$25000 per month due to rising of many skillfull engineering from universities of China, and returned graduates from overseas..
