| | | Come on England! Hello there! Wondering if anyone knows a few good old traditional english pubs to watch the footie in?
Not been here for long and am looking for pubs where you can sing football songs and wear your colours with no shame! (espeically with this the world cup year, was living in Italy the last time around and realised the importance of finding a good pub to watch the footie in when you are in a foreign country!)
Also, I know it's a bit early but...any England fans around??

| | | Delaneys would probably be your best bet, but also White Stag, Devil's Advocate in Wanchai, Whiskey Priest, Brewhouse and others in LKF... | |

Argentina might be tricky but I think we've got the beating of them after the last couple of times we've played them. Brazil, sadly I agree that they'll probably beat us, but you never know. If Rooney hits form anything is possible

| | | Germany of course have home advantage and with the nation on there side then they'll go far, just look how well the south koreans did in the last world cup.
England can't hang onto leads everybody knows that, they'll go 2-0 up then 2-2 then lose on penalties.

South korea got as far as they did last time due to some VERY dubious refereeing against both Italy and Spain.
You watch, Rooney inspired England will get to the final (where we'll probably lose to Brazil) the conditions suit England a lot better in Germany than they did in Japan

| | | Maybe I'm doing them a bit of a disservice, but I speak with some German colleagues and non of them hold out much home for a win on home soil. I'd be worried too if our first choice keeper was Jens Lehman!!
Dark horses for me (although maybe not that dark) is Holland, if their team gels they've got an abundance of talent
