DIY Shop in HK?

Can someone tell me where to find a (possibly large) DIY shop in HK? I need different types of tools and other things, possibly in a good quality.

Some place on HK island would be preferred.

He means like a hardware store that sells power tools, nails and screws, building materials, home improvement stuff, and so on. I was wondering if there was one too, apart from the small local household goods stores. I don't think there are any, or none to my knowledge.

Yeah what kind of DIY?If it is a bit of carpentry and fix-it-yourself at home, try any of the hardware shops. Haven't seen a DIY shop as such in HK, (other than the stuff IKEA does!!) So far my experiances with DIY in HK has been just drilling /fixing shelves etc. But there are different shops for different stuff, like Wood/plywood , plumbing , paints etc. But general hardware shops will give u most of the tools(or toys) u need.
Good luck and remember the HK noise control laws!

In Sheung Wan side streets there's alot of asian builder type shops, normally without any signs on them and they stock anything from hose to wires. These are places where I think renovators go to, or better yet, call up some renovators and ask them for leads. I haven't seen a place that stocks everything under one roof though.
