Hi,
What would be a good suggested route for some shopping in Kowloon? I am coming from HK side and am bringing some friends from out of town. Do we start in Mongkok and walk towards TST? Is Fa Yuen St. and Women's St near the Jade Market?

What kind of stuff you wanna buy? You may want to start in Prince Edward, where Fa Yuen St is, and then:

Fa Yuen St --> Lady St / Area around where you can find lots of electronic stores --> Temple St (but it's only "active" in the evenings) --> TST

As you know Fa Yuen St / Lady St offer mainly cheaper products, you may want to have a 2nd thought if you wanna go shopping there. Hope this can help you!

for me, Fa Yuen Street is quite close to Women's Street. but Jade Market..... u better to take bus from Women's St.
i would suggest u to start shopping from Prince Edward, Mongkok, Yau Ma Tei then take the ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central. here are the suggested route :-

Prince Edward
Flower Market --> Fa Yuen Street (Fa Yuen Street and Sai Yeung Choi Street, you can see stalls selling all kinds of things: sportswear, clothings, leather goods, toys, gifts, compact discs ... It is crowded with people, mostly ladies, bargaining with the stall keepers. The atmosphere and the style is completely different from Stanley market. It is local, and situated in the busy town centre amidst heavy traffic. Perhaps you may get something you like at a very reasonable price!)

Mongkok
Women's Street

Yau Ma Tei
Temple Street (This is the famed Temple Street Night Market. Carts bulge with goods, from casual clothing to mobile phones and watches. You might be able to buy all your souvenirs here. If you're lucky, you'll encounter Chinese street opera or fortune-tellers)

Jade Market (Located on the junction of Kansu Street and Battery Street in Yau Ma Tei, the Jade Market is a must for jade lovers and collectors. They are selling a range of jade pieces from precious and pricey carvings, simple pieces of jewelry to inexpensive trinkets. Be prepared to bargain!)

Tsim Sha Tsui
this area offers you non-stop shopping opportunities. Chungking Mansions is well worth the visit and is a great spot for some authentic, affordable Indian food. Also check out the sidewalks of Granville and Cameron Road, a favourite spot for factory outlet clothing.

Park Lane --> Chungking Mansions --> Duty Free --> Harbour City --> Museum --> Avenue of Stars

Thanks for the suggestions. No main goal in mind in terms of shopping, just want to show some out of town guest the legendary HK shopping they have been hearing about.

Things we would like to see:
1) Electronics/cameras
2) Samples/discounts on "brand name clothing" - preferably in larger US sizes
3) Thought jade market might be a unique experience

im sure you can get all the FAKE stuff from Temple Street, Yau Ma Tei at night !

Fake things are also available on Lady's St. They are openly display with pictures.. so keep searching, it shouldn't be too hard to find!

1) Look on Lady's Market in Mongkok. Openly displaying all fakes such as handbags, clothes, jewellery and watches.

2) Nathan Road TST. You can't walk far down the road without hearing that familiar mantra "copy watch?"

For seconds and export stuff look on Fa Yuen street betwen Mongkok and Prince Edward behind the market stalls. Beware and shop carefully. Some shops are selling original but more are selling copies.
