Hey guys,

Had a wee accident with the dryer and have shrunk all hubby's runners...oopsies. Now I can't find any shop that stocks size 12 US for running shoes....

Would anyone know where to go?

He is shoeless and I am guilty....

You ain't wrong about size 12 being hard to find here that's for sure. We must come from the land of the giant foot in Oz because I can't get my size either...thanks a lot for the site Jay, good for future.

In the meantime as it is an urgent and drastic situation, I am sending out friends back home to go shopping for us.

If anyone is size 12 and has managed to find a shoe shop that sells sports shoes that fit, I would be thrilled to hear from you!

I'm 13 or 13.5 US...I buy ALL my sneakers online now. You can get size 12 up in China if you hunt around a little...

Ta, thanks Jay. Considering opening a size 40 plus shoes for women and size 11 plus for male shoe store. Think it would go well. Cannot get over the fact they just can't be found at all here....

I think that'd go down pretty well actually. I'd definitely be interested. There used to be a place in Sun Hung Kai Center that carried larger sizes, but it closed down. I think advertising is key. Gotta have some nice styles, too.

Try Marathon Sports in Pacific Place in Admiralty. I wear Mens US 12 and they had a couple of running shoes in stock in my size. I am not positive it was Marathon Sports, but there is a store in Pacific Place One or Two that stocks some Mens US 12 shoes.

I had good luck in the mall at TST, just next to the Star Ferry. I also found a few in Causeway Bay, but you'll find the selection to be very limited.

yup very tough to find, have found size UK12 (US13) at:

Marathon Sports in Tseung Kwan O (I bought the last pair) but seems Marathon Sports is a pretty good source - ask to check other stores.

Kowloon City Plaza little sports shop on ground floor (however building is under renovation at the moment, no idea if the sports shop is still open)

Temple Street (not the stalls) the little shops behind, they are a few shoe shops you might get lucky.

Marks and Spencer rare to find UK 12 work shoes, and their sports shoes are more like deck shoes worth a try - will also check stock in other stores for you and deliver to nearest store, takes about a week.

Stanley Market had a sports/mountain shoe shop benn there for years, always had large sizes in stock especially boots (yet again haven't been to stanley for ages no idea if shop still open)

Mongkok there is sports/mountain boot shop in Fa yuen street, havent checked that store recently.
