Motorola v3i OR SonyEric K750i OR SE W800i
Dear Friends,

I am very confused about making a cell phone purchasing decision. My options are :
Sony Ericsson K750i
Sony Ericsson W800i
Motorola V3i

Plz advice which one should i purchase.

My budget is about HK$ 2500. Plz do suggest other good phones u know of. Thanks.

i think k750i can be converted to w800 by software only.
so i prefered k750i aside fron its picture sharpness.

Motorola software is designed by monkeys. If you intend to listen to mp3s more than using the phone go for the W800i otherwise the K750i is a good choice (if you like that kind of phone).

I currently own a w800i. Never buy Motorolas. It's true that they were designed by monkeys... with an IQ of a bird. My sister owns a Razr and the screen is ugly. The camera not good and it's so difficult to use!

The w800i on the other hand is great. Except that it's not easy to navigate through 2gb worth of mp3s with it. You can't organize by album you see... just by artist. I hate that! And Sony's transfer software is pathtetic. Other than that... I love it!

either of the SE phones would be good. Moto's have crap UI indeed.

Not all of them
I've used Motorolas for a while now and while i agree that their regular phone UI are pretty much crappy, not all of them are bad.

What about the UI for the Motorola smartphones? MPx220, or the new A1200 thats based on Linux?

A friend had the Motorola MPx220 and it was fine as it ran the Windows Mobile 2003 software.

Man! Get the v3i, best phone i ever had!
Easy menu, camara has only 1 megap. but the quality is still a lot better than any 2 mp cameras (e.g. nokia, or sonyer..)
Can put in a card with 256mb max. so enough space for about 80 mp3s..
Phone's great, i already dropped it 3 times and it doesn't have any scratches. Definitely robust.

hey so just one guy for v3i and all others against it. is the ui of v3 and v3i the same? i think then ill go for the w800i only. but check the foll. link out. new colors of the v3i which are tempting me.:

Why doesnt motorola change the ui. Also how is the mp3 player of the v3i? and does it have lodspeaker?
