Sony Ericssons have far better picture quality....for your price range I would go for the W800i

v3i user here. it's very simple to use; but true, the UI is nothing but dull. about the camera, it's 1.23 MP but i disagree that it's a lot better than any 2 MP cam phones around. i'd say it's good for MMS, random snapshots, but it's never a digicam replacement or something that you expect you could print out. the max card you can put is 512MB, not 256. it's hot-swappable, meaning you can change the card withou turning the phone off. the screen is great. and personally, i like the unique slim design. the loud speaker is very very good. (i.e., playing mp3's in loudspeaker, ringtone, message alert). hope that helps.
