Fairly easy.

From Central Take bus 962 opposite Exchange Square (near the KFC). 18 HKD

From TST, take a Minibus at Jordan (they line up at the back of Nathan Road). 16 HKD.

Anyone have any idea the cost and time from Tai Po (NT) to Gold Coast in a cab?

If you are on the Shek Kong side of Tai Po, and if you go the back way via the military barracks via Tsuen Wan, its going to be about 30 minutes and cost you about $200 ish. I dont usually take cabs, but by car it takes about 30 minutes usually to get to the Gold Coast, Siu Lam in our case, which is a street away from the GC residences.

If the taxi driver goes the long way through Yuen Long then onto the Tuen Mun freeway it will take you a good 20 minutes longer, and a higher cost cab fare.

You want to go the shek kong direction and turn left at the roundabout after Heli Services ( which will be on your left ) and you'll see the sign posting for TSUEN WAN, this is the fastest way. Once in Tsuen wan, follow the signs to Tuen Mun, which will get you onto the Tuen Mun high way and eventually the Gold Coast Siu Lam turn off.
