Not sure that there are any 'decent' restaurants there.

best bet would be to head to Tsing Yi and explore.

Er, hint for Mat... Kwai Fong is somewhere entirely different from Lan Kwai Fong!

I work near Kwai Fong and usually eat in the Metroplaza mall across from the MTR. My usual spots are:

Spaghetti Houe
Yoshinoya
KFC
Shanghai Chinese (don't know the name, but very good)
Delifrance
Starbucks (I like the sandwhiches)
McDonald's
Porto
Pizza Hut (I never go, but it is there)

Tons of nameless spots also that I pop into every know and then

yes, if u are working in Kwai Fong, no where to go during lunch except Metroplaza. If u can read Chinese, then check out their webpage www.metroplaza.com.hk, their hv some discounted coupons for you to download

I do hv few suggestion that u can lunch in Metroplaza :-

- Relexing Tea House plus Fragrant Kitchen (Shop 531-539) very gd set lunch and dinner
- Maxim's Palace (Shop 556-570) chinese dim-sum, u definitely cant miss it
- Ho Ho congee and Noddle (Shop 370-374) Congee and won-ton noodle
- Deli Viet (Shop 389-392) Vietnam food

Thumbs up ...

You can find some pretty good restaurants in the Metroplaza... You can also try the wide range of Chinese restaurants in the area. One of them is especially famous for its fried shrimp and seafood!

"Sun Tin Dah" at level 4
Chao Inn at level 5
Relaxing tea house that recommanded by Peep..peep. nice decor.

Huh, Kwai Fong is not like Lan Kwai Fong..!! It is situated between the New Territories and Kowloon, close to Tsuen Wan. You're such a typical Western expat

I need to ask my Chinese friend. It is 5 minutes away from the Kwai Chung Plaza, you need to cross the road and then walk through the main street. It is typically HK-style but very good! However, you often need to queue up before being able to get a seat!
