Buying at Shenzhen Wal-Mart, getting it to HK... Hi Friends... I'm moving into a new apartment and am considering making a trip up to the Wal-Mart in Shenzhen to buy the "new-flat necessities". Because I expect there to be some larger (i.e. bulky) items, I'm concerned about how I would physically carry and get all that stuff back across the border to HK. Does anyone know if WalMart delivers to HK, and if so, what their policies/prices are?

can check out www.wal-martchina.com/english/index.htm. i went to the one near Kerry Ctr and wasn't that impressed. the stuff they sell there is very localised, ie. they have a wet-market section, bakery, supermarket, etc., don't expect to find large selection of houseware - it's definitely not like the Wal-Mart in North America. maybe u can check out other locations in SZ.

What is it that you are looking for that you feel will be so much cheaper in SZ that it is worth all the hassle of bringing it over from there? Surely for housewares HK is pretty well sorted already (IKEA, GOD, etc. etc. etc.)?
