working for a foreign company in HK

I was thinking about (tele)working from HK for my current employer, a German company without a subsidiary in HK. I was not able to find any information on what kind of visa is needed to do that. Is it possible at all?

hello

No matter what you need to have a sponsor to work in Hong Kong. Either by setting up your own company or working for another.

Therefore the best option would be to have the German company establish a sub in Hong Kong and then employee you on a full time basis.
