Question What're my chances?

Sorry.. another "What-R-My-Chances" question..
Hi all,
I've read a number of posts in regarding teaching in HK. Have always been interested in teaching at primary schools but I'm sort of reconsidering it 'cause of the low birth rate in HK, pay cuts, number of primary schools forced to shut down, etc. The prospects of launching a career in primary school teaching doesn't look too good in HK..
Although I've a degree in Fine Arts from the States, I didn't get any reply at all after months of non-stopped cold calling and sending resumes, and that was few years ago and before SARS. Well I'm doing a master in linguistics now, and I know I've to do PGDE and possibly another one more in TEFL 'cause my first option is to go for PNET if successful but I certainly would love to teach as a local teacher. Don't have much prior experience in teaching.. I'd only taught art classes at HKU SPACE and some private English tutoring. Now I'm almost finishing linguistics and I'm not sure if I should invest more time and money in degrees after degrees, diplomas after diplomas..
I do love being with kids though. Sigh..So, what should I do, should I go for it or consider other career options?

From your experience etc there should be no reason why you should have any issues in finding teaching work.

Why primary schools in specific as you are restricting your chances and options considerably? Have you targetted any of the international schools etc?

No need to be worried, these are a very rare occurence.

Not as bad as the spate of school kids jumping off roofs etc that was so prevalent back in the late 90's.
