Hello Folks!

Looks like all of our weekends are starting to get filled up (which is a good thing), so I thought I'd get this out there while there's still room left on our social calendars!

I've spoken with several people, and there seems to be some interest in having a Tram Party.

What is a Tram Party? Well, I'm glad you asked! A Tram Party is when a group rents out one of the trams from HK Tramways (for a very cheap rate, by the way), and has a party on it! We'll have the thing all to ourselves! We can bring on our own food and beverage of choice, and even music if we wish! I've done some basic research, and the most fun tour looks to be on one of the old-style trams (open-air spaces on the roof and lights around the edges). And on the brochure, everyone on the tram looks like they're having fun, so how bad can it be!

What I'm looking for now is... who is interested? (space is limited on the trams) When would people like to do this? (I'm thinking late April or early May, and Saturdays seem to work best for most people) How long a tour would you be interested in? (they offer a few different options. One idea I've gotten is to start the tour in the early evening, and to take the whole tour, 3.5 hours, and then have everyone go out for dinner afterwards.)

oh peter, i did it once in x'mas. it was nice. as i remember that costed me $1500 for 2 hrs, right?
it is good for gathering but not good for foods or drinks on trame...

Glad to have you aboard, Nave! The cost is $900 per hour for the old fashioned tram, so the more people we get, the cheaper per person it will be!
And we'll just have to be careful with our drinks then, so we don't spill over each other! Maybe we can get cups with lids....
