OK, folks, here's the latest update from HK Tramways... they don't have 2 antique trams available at the same time on that day. So we can do 1 of 2 things...

1. Hire 1 antique and 1 passenger (they have one with the older design from the 1950s) - the passenger tram hire is cheaper than the antique rental, so people who ride that one will pay less.

2. Hire 2 passenger trams.

Let me know what the majority of people would like to do, and which one you would rather be on if we get 1 and 1.

If it turns out that everyone wants to be on the antique, we may have to just hire 2 passengers so there's no bloodshed over who gets to go on! And before anyone asks, no we can't switch between trams during the party (I already asked them at HK Tramway)

Can't make it myself now, but I'd say the antique ones would be far better atmosphere since they're (at least partially) open up top. On the other hand, the closed ones may avoid too many cries of "man overboard!!" during the evening

Sorry, can't make the 22nd as I'll be in Japan that day. Take me off the list unless you change the date to the 29th.

The 1st proposal is better. And yes, I can make it on Apr 22.

I am anxious that ALL should go on the same day, even if it means on two different trams....so that no one is left behind....I vote for two similar looking trams rather than different ones.

What do you think?

Warm regards,
Rubina.
