For the confused some of us!! :D

Okay Guys and Gals,

This is for our reference and will be put on all the four threads referred to below:

Saturday - 8th April 2006 - Hot Pot Dinner and Dancing.
Hot pot dinner and dancing, Sat. April 8th

Friday/Saturday - 14th /15th April - Tram Party - Artdude will decide.
Tram Party
(Just a thought - preferably Saturday Artdude since people can continue to party and be together even after the tram Party is over!!- Think about it!!!)

Friday/Saturday - 14th/15th April - Island Visit - Nave will decide.
Calling for all loners like me for Easter break!
(Just a thought - preferably Friday Nave, since one can sleep till late on Saturday morning and then get ready to party again on Saturday night!!)

Saturday/Sunday - 22nd/23rd April - Macau Trip - Volgan will decide.
Trip to Macau (Main attraction:Go-Karting)

Another thought one and all, as a well wisher would just like to remind everyone here - that it is a lot of fun to party, but it is ALSO expensive!!! The one's who are on a budget, just remember to take care and not ignore the expenses, not all get togethers are a must!!!! I have said what was on my mind....so all we need to do now is PARTY!!!

Warm regards,

Rubina.

Wow! I wasn't expecting this many responses! We may have to get 2 trams at this rate! And then maybe we can race them!

OK, I'll summarize what we have so far...

It seems that many people would like to have this party sooner rather than later (i.e., the weekend of April 15.) The only thing is, when I spoke with HK Tramways, they said that they need at least 2 weeks to set up a party, so we might not be able to do that weekend. Is there any other weekend that people like? Maybe the 29th, or early May? (to avoid conflicting with other events going on) I'm open to suggestions, I just want to be able to get a weekend that's good for the majority of the group.

A shorter tram ride seems to be preferable to most of the people I spoke with (I think the 3 hour tour is eerily similar to Gilligan's Island), so let's plan on the 2 hour tour. Hey, if people are having a really good time, we can always pay the $2 and continue riding the regular trams all night, right?

Several people have mentioned making this a theme event (thanks to a certain duo's suggestion), and since Saturday night's Funny Hat party went over so well, why not? One suggestion was for us to wear bunny ears (BTW, thank you for the compliment, Dona, but I think you shone much brighter than I did on Saturday! )... now don't get me wrong, I like wearing bunny ears as much as the next guy, but we just had a headwear-themed party. So I'm thinking maybe a "Loud shirt party?" Tie-dyed, Hawaiian, glow-in-the-dark... the louder, the better! What say the masses on this one?

That's about it so far. Let me know what weekend works for you (you can either post here, or PM me directly), and keep in mind that we'll need at least 2 weeks so HK Tram can get this going for us. I hope we can find a weekend that works for everyone!

hey peter,
so i can take 14th or 15th for my island tour whatever i want? i think so...
it seems like all the activities are too close to each other and people usually don't want to miss. so it is tough to decide.
cheers,
nave

Hey Artdude!

People will want to have fun and party during the Easter Break....and we may still be able to make it. How about making some enquiries and "pushing" them to find out if they can arrange it for the 15th since most of us will be tired after the tour on the 14th!!

Waiting for a further update!!!

Thanks.

Warm regards,

Rubina.
