Hi everyone,

As I mentioned to some of you, my best friend in the whole wide world, John, is coming to visit me in HK from New York next week, and I want to show him a great time and introduce him to some of the awesome people I've met here (i.e., all of you guys). He's wanted to try hot pot (steam boat) but never has, and we've been talking about doing a hot pot dinner anyway, so I thought we could start by meeting up for that first. He also likes to go out dancing (like I do), and so I figured we could do that afterwards. So the plan would be:

Saturday, April 8th
- 7:00 dinner at Little Sheep Hot Pot in Causeway Bay (address below)
- After dinner, head over to someplace in Wan Chai or Central/LKF to start off with, then roam from there if necessary

Suggestions on venues for dancing? He likes R&B & hip-hop (preferably not just the normal garbage they play to death in so many places, like the 87 Black Eyed Peas songs they wear out every weekend night).

Let me know who's up for joining us for either or both things. I'll book a table at Little Sheep once I see how many people are going to the hot pot dinner.

How can I even think about thinking of saying no - not us!! The statement does not even arise.....hoping that we are one of the "awesome" ones on the list - My Beloved and I are in!!! For the hotpot and maybe for the dancing later on, depending on my beloved's mood!!!

But dinner is definitely on!! Been meaning to try out "Little Sheep" since you mentioned it!!!

Already planning for Saturday 8th? No Sirree, I will not miss it for sure! Hot pot at Little Sheep is the perfect choice and Greg...I would not miss an event where your company is present, you know that! And I should be free for prowling afterwards - need to dance off all the calories I consume at Hot pot you know!!!

Little Sheep Hotpot is my favorite Hotpot place but in hk that is 3 times expansiver than shenzhen. i planned to go shenzhen this weekend so i think i won't join this time.
but no matter what i would love to see you guys late night in dance floor~

hey guys!! i would love to tag a long for the party afterwards - as i will prolly miss the farewell shindig this weekend
i lived in ny too!! woohoo! go ny!
ummmm....i dunno bout venues with songs that arent overplayed.......u might not really find huge crowds in those places....and umm..u may really not find many of those places....

i kno edge has hip hop nights on sat, but i tink theres a cover with that too.
otherwise....jewel, cclub, lux (oh..actually lux plays good music - but it can get real crowded sometimes), umm....of course hei hie but again big cover, then theres wanchai - mes amis (i luv that place - the atmosphere is cool cos its kinda fun and cheesy..they mix up the music a bit w 80s n rock).
damn! i wish Venue was still as hot as it used to be! but noone goes there nemore....althooooo if theres a big group of us....we dont really need neone else do we??

lol well..hope that helps and im sure ull be able to get more ideas in the next week
