OK guys, got some more ideas on clubs. Here're the recommended options below. Basically, the choice comes down to going to Central (LKF area) vs. Wan Chai. Wan Chai's closer to where we'll be having dinner, but we might have more choices in Central if the first place we go to ends up being bad. Any thoughts/preferences from anyone on this? I've only been to a couple of these places myself, and both were a long time ago. Let me know and I'll post the final decision soon. (Special thanks to Jayinhongkong for the info on these spots.)

ive never started my night in wanchai, but i've always found that wan chai gets busier later at night, around 12:30 1 ish (when ive gotten there earlier its been quite quiet) so alotta people usually start off in lan kwai and then go to wan chai. however....that may also b good for u to go claim your spot at some bar in wanchai b4 the crowds come and take over...so it depends on how u wanna do it lol

hmm...i dunno if neone has hookups at those places above (jay? neone else?)..but most of them r usually a hassle to get into, such as guest lists and cover charges especially on a friday or saturday (i kno sugar was sayin $300 one time we were lookin to go)

umm..there's also Jewel in central..havent been there in a while tho, but i can check if my friend is still working there

Lux in lkf plays good music (gets jumping around 12ish), but it's not really a "nice" place such as edge, pi etc.

i like mes amis in wan chai - tho its not fully hip hop/r&b and unfortunately is mainstream...lol..but it can be quite fun in there - esp when the random bon jovi or 80s song is thrown in there for everyone to go stupid! lol

if ure looking for somewhere to just grab a drink first and give your friend a taste of the hk nitelife style of spilling out to the street and mingling, and THEN head to the dancing - i would suggest, in lkf, stormy weather or la bodega (sposed to have good mojitos, they play latin music tho - goes hand in hand w/ the nyc life! damn i miss ny! lol)
