This is EXCELLENT!!! Yes, many of Hong Kong's finest (the "awesome" ones) have already signed up, still hoping for some others too... I'm going to be in a serious mood to celebrate on this particular night, my non-biological twin brother being in town and all, so I apologize to everyone in advance if I happen to drink massive quantities of alcohol and act in an uncharacteristically irresponsible fashion during the course of the night.

I count 11 so far for dinner (Rubina & beloved husband, Zeekhan87, Mariposita, Connie, Jayinhongkong, Nemrac, Artdude, Donabel beltran, Valerie, Cendrillon). Let's see who else signs up later. Anyone can PM me for my number if they need it for this, as always.


Uh oh... The famous mother & daughter team has signed up, which could mean trouble! Rubina, thank goodness you're coming my friend, no gathering would be complete without your presence (even if it ends up only being for dinner). And Zeekhan87, yes, it's time to branch out a little. PSMaverick: You're not going to run off in the middle of dancing and go to WORK again, are you? Call in sick or something. There's going to be some serious celebrating going on this particular evening.

Mariposita, my new neighbor... You are a very kind, generous woman, flattering me for no good reason like that. I'm so glad you're gonna be there to tear up the dance floor with us. And I vow to never miss another get together of yours.

Jayinhongkong: Have we met before in person? If not, we should b/c it sounds like we've got some similar tastes & experiences, so I'm glad you're coming.

Shafin: Thanks for all the suggestions. Yeah, Venue used to be jumping and then it died. But like you said, maybe that's not such a bad thing if we can go in and take the place over. Dona's report is that the music was good. Might not be a bad place to start out anyway. Let's see...

Dark Angel: Yes, you must show up one way or another. If you're not with us by a reasonable hour, I'm going to show up to the dinner and yell "Fire!". You wouldn't want that, would you?

Dona: It's VODKA & club soda, and I'll leave those to you on this night. I will likely be drinking something stiffer than that. Thanks for the report on Venue. You know what kind of music I hate, so I value your opinion on this kind of thing.

Valerie: Of course you're more than welcome to join us. Rubina (and the others) seem to be telling gross exaggerations about me, but I'm glad you're coming anyway and am looking forward to meeting you.

Pete: Looks like the New Yorkers will be out in force that night. Let's hope the police don't need to get involved.

Cendrillon: Ah yes... Now it's a party. Was hoping you'd join us for this.

Already am missing all of you, I wonder how I will feel once I am in Singapore!!! Need to find myself a job there....I think each one of you is responsible for raising my expectations of a friendship - I will never be able to make friends and NOT miss you all!!!

Friday/Saturday - 14th /15th April - Tram Party - Artdude will decide.

(Just a thought - preferably Saturday Artdude since people can continue to party and be together even after the tram Party is over!!- Think about it!!!)

Friday/Saturday - 14th/15th April - Island Visit - Nave will decide.
Calling for all loners like me for Easter break!
(Just a thought - preferably Friday Nave, since one can sleep till late on Saturday morning and then get ready to party again on Saturday night!!)

Another thought one and all, as a well wisher would just like to remind everyone here - that it is a lot of fun to party, but it is ALSO expensive!!! The one's who are on a budget, just remember to take care and not ignore the expenses, not all get togethers are a must!!!! I have said what was on my mind....so all we need to do now is PARTY!!!

You shouldn't apologize Rubina! Thanks for clarifying the dates and times for everyone.

Tweetym: Glad you're joinging us! Decca: it's Mongolian hot pot and their specialty soup base is spicy, but the standard way of ordering is to have another non-spicy soup base on the other half of the pot so you should be fine.

I also got the thumbs up from Prashant (my coworker) & wife last week, and Prashanthbk & Martyn (I forgot your screen name) at the going away party last Saturday.
