hunting for blood sausage

been living here in hk for over 4 years but never came across a real european blood sausage. someone told me these are not allowed to be made in hk because of some health regulation or other?! what about imports? anybody knows where to buy??

Delaneys restaurant in Wanchai might be able to help you. They used to operate Dublin Jacks and that restaurant served blood pudding.

We had Paella yesterday with blood sausage. I wonder if the Spanish supermarket stocks it?

They sell a blood sausage with onions in Oliver's. It's a prepacked and imported one - from the US I think. It's hanging by the prepacked hams in the cooler, and looks like a giant turd...

The British name for it is "Black Pudding" so you may need to look for that. It is certainly stocked in the more upmarket supermarkets and served in a number of pubs/restaurants as part of their "full English breakfast".

TC Foods in Hang Hau Village and Butcher King in Sai Kung town centre sell (usually frozen) black pudding
