How to get wifi on my lappi ?

Hi

I have acer aspire 5500 with wifi . I am living near Whampoa Gardens , Hung Hom .
I get many wireless networks like 3EW, BLW04EM . picnic etc etc some are unsecured
When I try to connect to them they show limited or no connectivity . Is there a way free or
paid to get wifi n/w on my lappi . Any pointers are welcome Thanks.

Buy a broadband connection. Put a wireless router on the end.

PCCW/Sunday sell a monthly package for $58 that gives you access to their 350 wi-fi hotspots.

It is an unlimited package for use anywhere in Hong Kong. Run a scan and look for PCCW as their station id.

Not sure what answer you want from me. If I worked for PCCW/Sunday I would say yes then leave you to technical support after I'd received your money ha! ha! ha! Seriously, if you get atleast a moderate to good signal then it will suffice. An excellent signal goes without saying but a weak signal may be risky. The $58 is on a month-by-month basis so if you don't like it you can cut it anytime. You need to ask if they will pro-rata the unused portion of the month back to you. Most (if not all) Starbucks, Pacific Coffee et al have their hotspots.
