Hi there,
I'm not sure why but i can't find my thread. I was enquirying about a new Botox product that has been making noice in HK. "BOTOCARE from Switzerland". I have heard the Botox facial is given in a few spas in central and the product is also available in harvey Nichols. Has anyone tried it?

Given the potential toxicity of the ingredients.. does it matter if the product is injected or massaged into your face?

Thats just it - Its not toxic, its all natural ingredients. The main ingredient is the protein Argireline, which I read in a science journal, is proven to give the same effect as botox but in an all natural way. We all know that the long term effects of Botox has not been fully tested and the invasiveness of needles are a few reason why I would try something more natural and without the needles. So this looks like an option b4 botox needles.

So .... it is not botox .. it is just some wannabe product in the long list of many so called natural products with natural ingredients.... Wonder if it is legal for them to play on the "Botox" trademark ...

(We have a bet going on in the office where this is going...)

I don't know what classification it falls under; All I'm looking for is an alternative to needles and toxin, thats all.

Thousands of products that don't need needles and toxins... would recommend talking to a doctor before you venture into these miracle cures.

Most of them if not all, prey on people's desire for an instant fix to a problem that cannot be solved.

Dear Knowitall,
Sometime, we need to be open to new things. If we were all pessimistic, the world would not go around. I am always open to trying but ofcourse with careful research and understanding, which I have done regardig this product and just wanted feedback on anyone who has tried it.

Well, if it is going to mess with your skin, shouldnt you be asking a doctor instead of on a forum? God forbid, the distributor of this product logs on here and starts promoting it as a regular user ... we don't need our users getting false information.. and then looking all ugly.
