They have a dinner at City Garden Hotel next Thursday starting at 6.30pm. Live telecast of NDP as well. Though most of their happy hour with SCC, would say 90% of attendees are from SA.

The SA gathering used to be weekly, while SCC-SA was every 1st wk of every month. Now, it's only a monthly gathering, makes sense for SCC-SA since perhaps more people come. Just attended the gathering on Thurs after a long while. nice to be back. GB

Hello I am a Singaporean and been in HK for last 13 months. Did not have much time to make friends here due to busy schedule shuttling in and out of China on weekdays but normally spend my weekends time here. Any Singaporean like to get together for coffee or makan on weekends, or maybe just get together for EPL games, do PM me....

Hi Talex, just returned from Shanghai. Frequently go to BEI, SHG, Sichuan, Wuhan and neighbourhood very often. Have been here since 2001 with family, most SNG friends I know catch on the tempo here, leaving little time for get-togethers. Where do you stay, what's EPL? We are in central, used to do badminton, squash, golf but appointments are now overdue by at least 2yrs - difficult to coordinate on timing. gb

2nd hand furniture hi everyone, i'll return to singapore mid sep and leaving all my furniture here, they are mostly 2-3 years old and in very good condition. if you have just arrived in hk, you may need some of those things like a sofa-bed, dining set with 4 chairs, little coffee tables, double-bed and wardrobe. i'm not gonna charge for anything, i just thought my landlord will most probably sell them to get some money if i leave them behind. they are not quite for sale, but you wish to express a token of appreciation, that would be nice. otherwise, REALLY NO obligations but you have to arrange your own dismantling and pick up absolutely no later than 12 sep. i live in tsing yi. PM me, if interested and can hang out this weekend and you can have a chance to look at my place.
