Hey,

I just finished my studies in Switzerland and will now move to Hingkong to work. I was wondering, as it is fairly difficult to find some good pages in the web if someone has some hints /advices for me. I am looking for a room to rent out in an appartment. It shouldnt bee too expensive (max 2500HKD/Month) and fully furnished. It should be ideally located on Hongkong Island close to Central as I will be working there.
I highly appreciate any hint or advice that could help me finding something over there...

2.5k/month for a fully furnished room near central is quite difficult. may have better chances if lift your budget by 1k or so. or consider living farther away, like in chai wan, or tung chung.

Thanks for the remark. I conducted some research as well and realized that 2,5k is quite low. Luckily my employer was so nice to grant me more $ So now i am looking for a room in a flat for sth like 3,5k to 4k: i guess that is much easier. I do not really care if its close to central or not unless central is reacheable in less than 60 min by public transportation. Hope that this time someone can help me
