Red face Rent at Seaview Crescent in Tung Chung

I am going to rent an apartment at Seaview Crescent in Tung Chung. 7xx sq , 2 bedrooms, HK6K inclusive. Is this price reasonable? How's the living condition and the quality of the apartment block?

Hello,

My sister lives in seaview crescent and is paying slightly more than you (all inclusive) and its fully furnished. So, the price seems reasonable.

Seaview crescent is really nice. Quite new and great living conditions compared to HK side (for 6K). There's a clubhouse with great facilities (gym, cafe, snooker, gymnasium, tennis, squash, etc.) Its definitely a great place to live.

Hope this helps xx

That's great. Thanks for your comments. I think I will definitely go for it. As I was going to look for a place to rent on HK island for 6K but the condition is terrible. It seems like the landlord does not want to rent it out.

hi

... we've been in seaview for over three years now... great place.... well connected... has a relaxed feel...

lately pollution has been a bit of an issue... but it's a similar situation all over hk...

..... we have a bit of furniture & appliances for sale as we are relocating soon... PM me if you want details...

No probs. The apartments in Tung Chung are much better quality than in HK side. Everything is new and more up-scale. Plus, there is great security and the reception people always help out if you have any problems. If something breaks in your apartment they will send someone up to take a look! comes quite handy!

The clubhouse is also a great perk! Even though you have to pay a few dollars to use the facilities like the pool its definitely worth it.

Its also only a few min walk to the mall. They are adding new shops to the mall and are FINALLY opening a PCC!

So, I think overall Tung Chung is a great pick - if you don't mind the traveling!

The train takes 26 minutes, so its not too long. Plus, if you get on in Tung Chung its the first stop so its easy to got a seat!

I believe that if you use your octopus its $18.10 and if you use cash its $20.

Hope this helps xx

I live here!

Iv got an awesome sea view up in the skies and $6k is the going price for 2bd 7xx apartment. Im actually tring to sell HKD$2.6 Million if anyones interested I can also see the airport and at night, the view is aswesome!!

The club house is very well designed and facilities are good, albeit gym is a little small (for me anyway )

This is a great place to live.....Tung chung is like another country compared to Hong kong island. So peacefull!

It takes about 30mins to get to central, 45mins to Mong Kok. The walk to and from the Mall and MTR station is a bit of a pain, especially if you have shopping or are coming back from a nigth out at 6 in the morning and just want your bed

Anyone interested can pm me.
