Rumors indicate that Sony is going to drop the PSP price for US to $199 USD. Any chance that we may be able to pick up a PSP for less than $180 USD here in HK.

Yes but it is a stripped down PSP - no headphones, case or memory stick.

Go to the "188" electronics/game center in Wanchai. Across the street a block or so (towards Central) more or less from the Charterhouse Hotel on Wanchai Rd. Can't miss it with the steady stream of teenagers in front of it.

Plenty of shops so look around, and bargain, particularly if you are buying a few games along with it. They even have older firmware versions that (I think) can play downloaded (pirated) games (not that I would advocate that).
