I want to know how much NET's are/should get paid.

I know it depends on experience and qualification, but a round figure will do.

Personally, P/T working in a learning center, i got between $200-300/ hour

F/T learning center: $10,000 (13months sal + 1/2 day sat)
F/T Private international School : $10,500 (12 month sal+ school holidays)
The above is for fresh grad with degree, no teaching qualification, no Bsc Edu, no experience.

I know the pay is pretty aweful but i dont see this as being a career and a permanent job. Nonetheless, i would still like to know how much others are getting.

from what i understand, with Housing Allowance, u looking at close to $28,000 a month just for someone that's starting off, of course it goes up as u go along

So a starting rate, including housing allowance, is around $29,000 = not bad!

The salary scale is from around HK$16,165 to HK$36,575 (*approx. US$2,077 to 4,700) per month (12 months a year). Passage, baggage and medical allowances and a special allowance of HK$12,950***(*approx. US$1,664) per month are provided for appointees whose normal place of residence is outside Hong Kong. (A NET will not be eligible for the special allowance if his/her spouse is currently receiving the same allowance or any housing benefit from his/her own employer.)
