Scoured the papers for the headlines. So apparently recovery from insomnia was effective and the mob was appeased.

Sorry, had been hoping too but had that growing mountain work piling up at office too. Could only leave close to 9 pm. Wound one's way to Delaney's upstairs to join shanx99 (and a few others met for the first time). I must have brought luck - no wicket fell after my arrival.
