Hello All,

Was just wondering if anyone goes to Pure Yoga or know of someone who does. They're affiliated with Pure Fitness, but just offer a variety of Yoga classes, with multiple locations. I'm curious as to what the monthly membership cost is. I've heard Pure Fitness at IFC is quite expensive...so just wondering how this would compare. If anyone has any knowledge, please let me know!

Thx for the reply JBest... I guess $799 isn't too bad if you go alot. But knowing myself, I probably won't have time (or am too lazy...lol) to go that often, so probably isn't too economical for me.

Anyone have recommendations for Hot Yoga classes anywhere else on HK Island that won't break the bank?? Also, be interested if anyone is looking for a beginner yoga companion! I need some motivation!

I need your advice who staying has membership with Pure Yuga in HK.

I am currently joined the Pure Yoga in Singaproe and moving to Hong Kign in next month. The salesperson in Singaproe suggests me to upgrade my current membership into Global which is around HK$760 x 24 months.

Not sure should I upgrade it to global membership or I should change to HK local package? Since I do not know which location I will live in HK yet. (Need to find a place after I moved to HK). Therefore, I cannot committ to join certain Pure Yoga branch right now.

Heard that Pure Yoga has difference price for difference branch in Hong Kong:
1) any idea on the overall pricing?
2) if their pricing fix or need to bargain?? I got a friend who moved to HK and join soem fitness club in Central, HK. She told me the orginal price is HK$1k per month and finally she got it in $300 only.

Need your comment and advice since I have to make the decision shortly.

Hi,
I am a Pure Yoga member in Singapore. I too have a 1 year membership. I travel to HK at least once a month. I did ask them about the global upgrade and was told it's additional of S$50 per mth. That should be about HK$230. If you are planning to visit other cities or to SG then that is the best way to go. HK does have different prices for different studios. But I think if you upgrade, you should be able to go to everyone for the same price. Please check with them first.

Hey Yani,

I actually decided to sign up for a dance course instead. I was basically just looking for something that I could call "exercise" and the dance course sounded a bit more interesting and enjoyable than Yoga. It's fast paced dancing, more young..hip styles, any interest? Still could use a companion too!! I haven't totally passed up the idea of Yoga yet, but since I joined the dance course, figured I'd see how that went first, so not actively inquiring on yoga at the moment. But if you do come across any places or classes, then do please let me know. I can probably only go like once a week...

Hi Alai

I'm a Pure Yoga member and I chose the package that includes all branches in HK. I find this very convenient because I have several sets of schedules to choose from, and all branches are quite easy to go to.

I don't think one can bargain much with their rates though. The lowest rate I know is $700+ per month for a fixed contract.

In the HK Magazine April issue, there's a 2 classes for $68 plus a free yoga mat offer for, this week only. Its based in central and TSS not sure what the catch is yet they said they will give me a call back, bit surprised that they haven't rang yet.
