Wing, I've read through that.. unfortunately we're dealing with 3 servers and over a 100 domains that need to be setup. Further.. there are multiple MX servers and high volume mailing list servers involved. Would be a fairly non trivial task to get this working.. which I'm willing to do, as long as I can figure out if people are actually using SPF records to filter UCEs.

spf filters UCEs

There are vendors who do use SPF to identify spam mail, viruses and worms - UCEs. Is this the answer that you are looking for ?

BTW, are you using exchange servers ?

No .. 100% linux based.

Anyways, I think we've kludged a generic SPF record together and yes, mail delivery seems to have improved.
